I snapped these pictures of my guy as he was on his way to meet a few work buddies for a round of golf.  The weather was sunny, perfectly mild, and magnificent for a day on the course.  The {His} dressed in his standard uniform of classics for the occasion ~ a basic navy polo paired with subtly patterned walking shorts.  Handsome golfing gear on a handsome man.

Good morning and happy Friday, friends!!  After another busy week, we're rather excited to be heading into a low-key weekend ~ cuddling up on the couch to watch the Olympic Opening Ceremonies this evening and heading to a Korean-inspired aqua spa for some ultimate relaxation tomorrow evening.  I can't wait!!  Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend!!  Here's just {five} of our favorite things from this past week...

You'll likely recognize the peter pan collared top I'm donning below from {this} "Picks" post.  In fact, it was the ecru color peter pan collar and added detail of the button-up back that originally drew me to this blouse.  Those girly touches were just too much for me to resist, particularly at only $33.99!!  This pretty little thing is still available {here}... where I'm also falling for {this} peter pan collared dress.  Adorable!!  Tinley Road may just be my latest brand crush.

His - Basics

The {His} firmly believes investing in classic, well-constructed basics is a good shopping rule of thumb.  Pieces that pair with a variety of items, never go out of style, and last due to solid construction are the basics that make-up the base of the {His'} wardrobe.  You'll notice such items, like the white T and watch he's wearing below, make frequent appearances on the blog and in the {His'} everyday wardrobe.  They're his "can't-live-withouts" and the pieces he believes worth spending a little extra on.

With the London Olympics only four days away, we're starting to get rather excited for the power of the games ~ the thrill and inspiration brought about by sport!!  As we begin counting down to the Opening Ceremony, which takes place this Friday, we're finding early inspiration in a series of images captured by the talented photographers over at TIME magazine.  Get psyched for some gripping sport... and let the games begin!!

{Five} of Our Favorite Things

It's been a light blogging week for us without our typical Tuesday and Thursday {His} and {Hers} outfit posts.  We took it easy while I was settling into my first week on the Aveda Institute salon floor and the {His} was recovering from another impressive triathlon finish at the Minneapolis Tri {I'm so proud of that boy!!}.  I thought we deserved a bit of a break as a reward for hard work in other areas of our lives.  We'll be back in full blogging force next week.  Before we skip off into the weekend, here's just {five} little things we enjoyed this past week...

{Five} of Our Favorite Things
